Job summary
To assist with the direct care of patients as delegated to and supervised by registered nurse / health care professional.
To work under supervision of a registered practitioner
To provide support to the nursing team working collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary team and contributing positively to the delivery of high quality compassionate care.
Main duties of the job
To assist with the direct care of patients as delegated to and supervised by registered nurse / health care professional.
To provide support to the nursing team working collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary team and contributing positively to the delivery of high quality compassionate care.
To uphold the fundamental standards of safety and quality always putting the patients first and protecting them from harm.
To understand that each patients' needs are specialised to them, and every patient requires a different level of care.
To assist patients with their activities of daily living i.e. providing personal care, toileting needs, assisting with nutrition and hydration.
To undertake blood glucose monitoring.
