To deal with both technical and user management of PAS EPR throughout the Trust.

Where applicable, ensure that corporate standards are adhered to and that these standards are appropriate for the function for which they were introduced

To develop, implement and maintain PAS EPR documentation for the continued support of the system

The Post holder would have a very high level of knowledge and experience in their field.

Communicate complex and highly interactive information to audiences at different levels. In all cases, information to be conveyed tailored to appropriate audience and with specific emphasis on high risk or urgent areas for action so that no issue is left unresolved.

In addition to the provision of complex data and information to service users and management, also required is experience of the receipt, collation and analysis of equally complex data which is subsequently required to be understood and used by the post holder in support of their activities. These will lead to the generation of regular reports spanning a wide range of subjects and across a number of users and management levels.

This role will involve long periods of desk-based activity to complete much of its remit. This includes high levels of concentration on highly complex activities including analysis, reporting and diagnostics. Again, due to the nature of the work, interruptions can occur although generally infrequent as focus needs to be maintained. Where interruptions do occur, this is will often be due to the urgent nature of the requirement meaning that the post holder will need to switch between various levels of large volumes of complex information, assimilating this quickly and providing workable and comprehensive solutions where applicable before returning to more predictable working patterns.

Carry out duties in a safe manner as laid out in the Trusts Health & Safety Policy and Operational Guidelines.

Due to the nature of this role, the post holder will be given wide latitude to address the issues that may be encountered in support of the appropriate user groups as well as freedom to review and research new ways of improving and supporting the aforementioned users. This means that the post holder will often have opportunity to work under their own directive in support of daily activities and supporting end users. Sometimes this will be unsupervised work with a specific directive provided by the posts Line Manager, other times this will include unsupervised work in which the post holder will be the lead needing to provide the directive, proposal, implementation and resolution.

Ensure that knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed internal policy and national guidelines in relation to PAS EPR Systems is maintained in a pro-active manner.
