Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sister / Charge Nurse within the Community Ambulatory Care Clinics team. We are seeking a dynamic, committed, highly motivated and flexible individual. You must have interest in Tissue Viability, underpinning knowledge and skills in this area is desired. You must be self-motivated, provide a high standard of clinical skills in particular wound care, lower limb management and catheter skills. Ideally you will have your health assessment module and V300 non-medical prescribing skills or plan to work to achieve these modules. Completion of Specialist Practitioner Qualification is desirable but not essential. Vascular experience is desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Sister / Charge Nurse is intrinsic to the success of patient care and positive outcomes. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary team members in care planning for patients. You will be pivotal in supporting staff development.
You will use your clinical expertise to support in the administrative planning of patient appointments, ensuring high level of patient care is maintained. You will support the service delivery by ensuring safe safe and appropriate staffing.
You will be a role model to all staff in ensuring high standards are met.
