Job summary

Main duties of the job

The Deputy Freedom To Speak Up (FTSU) Guardian will support the organisation to improve the experience of staff to speak up by providing specialist advice, support, identifying and addressing any barriers to speaking up and promote a positive speaking up culture within the Trust. The post holder will support the lead Guardian to ensure that, as a result of issues being raised, there is an opportunity for learning, improvement and change across the Trust. It is especially important that we support the Trust's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) agenda and encourage reporting from our diverse workforce.

  • Comprehensive track record of supporting and listening to staff ensuring action is taken and feedback is given
  • Evidence of Project management skills
  • Experience of working with people at all levels of an organisation, including senior managers with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Experience of presenting, facilitating and assisting in the delivery of training to a range of audiences
  • Comprehensive understanding of the issues and implications relating to Freedom to Speak Up within the NHS.
