Job summary
We welcome applications from experienced radiographers who are passionate about MRI scanning and management. We would like to employ a skilled MRI radiographer who has a desire to balance clinical work with management responsibilities.
You will join our radiology leadership team at an exciting time and will help to support the expansion of the MRI scanning service at our Cannock CDC site. You will support the MRI Superintendent in both a clinical environment and with day-to-day management of the service and the team.
You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, and be registered with the HCPC. Applicants should have recent NHS experience.
Interviews will be held in a face to face setting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide support to the MRI Superintendent to maintain high quality MRI services and assist in the planning and development of these services, including developing the team.
The post holder will deputise for the superintendent in their absence and will be expected to undertake line management roles commensurate with their grade.
The post holder will take a leading role in positively encouraging and maintaining the highest professional and technical standards in all staff, using personal examples of exemplary patient care, technically excellent imaging, and professionalism.
The post holder will be expected to participate in a standard 12.5h day roster including working at weekends, nights and on bank holidays. This role is a mix of clinical and management responsibilities.
