Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Healthcare Scientist to join the Respiratory Physiology team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. The post holder will be primarily based at Cannock Chase Hospital, working in the delivery of Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) respiratory diagnostic tests. There will be a requirement for cross site working, occasionally working at New Cross Hospital. There will be an expectation to work 37.5 hours over 4 long set days, to support service provision between 8AM and 6PM.
You will provide support to the Clinical Services Manager/Chief Respiratory Physiologist, playing a vital role in the maintenance and delivery of our high-quality service. You will be expected to deputise for the Clinical Services Manager/Chief Respiratory Physiologist in their absence and fulfil the required line management responsibilities.
You will assist in the planning and development of respiratory physiological services and the team. Primarily, you will be taking a strategic role in the development and delivery of the Community Diagnostic Centre respiratory physiological service at Cannock Chase Hospital.
