Job summary
The post holder will:
Assist with the day to day running of the control room
Be the CCTV point of contact for the Trust, responsible for day to day operational requirements of the CCTV system, including functioning of servers and cameras as required
Liaise with the trust appointed security service provider and CCTV/Security contractors ensuring compliance with Data Protection Act and relevant code of practice.
Assist with the control and management of the initial response to incidents ensuring effective communication is maintained between internal and external partners for their duration
Use CCTV to assist in investigations on behalf of trust departments or other partners, ensuring data compliance is met to maintain integrity of investigations linked to staff and patient/public safety. The post holder will develop effective working relationships with

Main duties of the job
Liaise with the trust on site contracted companies with ongoing investigations and reports when required
Assist in the delegation of security personnel to appropriate tasks including attending security incidents, responding to alarm activations, searches for missing patients and car park/traffic management.
Assist with investigations into security breaches and managing information security incidents.
Ensure CCTV viewings and images are not shared outside of Control Room under Data Protection Act 1998.
Observe incidents and assist with statements or reports as necessary Technology or system support
To log CCTV equipment faults with the security/CCTV contractors
To conduct regular checks of control room equipment including PDA'S, radio's and body worn video cameras.
Feedback to the trust security management team and assist with identifying trends and areas of concern
Conduct radio communications in a professional manner
Responding to requests for CCTV footage
Attend court or other formal hearings as necessary to give evidence
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to the position

Ensure the Home Office June 2013 CCTV Code of Practise is followed to a high standard.
