An exciting opportunity has become available for an acting Junior Sister/charge nurse role on C24 and C22. Are you enthusiastic, innovative and ready for a challenge? C24 and C22 need a positive role model with excellent leadership and clinical skills to join the existing team. Renal services are changing and you could be part of an evolving and improving service. The successful applicant will work alongside and be supported by our developing nursing team and Matron. We encourage practice development and have a Practice education facilitator to support.
Main duties of the job
To facilitate safe and effective patient care by providing support to other staff members. We work as part of a MDT which you will be engaging with on a daily basis whilst at work.
We provide training and support to all staff members in order to provide excellent patient care and professional development.

To manage and support staff to maintain an effective and safe environment for patients, by being proactive and efficient.
Co ordinate and priorities ward tasks
Facilitate discharges in a safe and timely manner
To have good communication skills and telephone manner when dealing with members of the public and MDT.
To work has a member of the MDT in order to provide excellent patient care and patient journey.
To be punctual and have good time management.
To be student assessors
To be able to manage Datix's, RCA'S and sickness in the absence of ward the manager.
To promote learning amongst staff members in order to update skills, knowledge and adapt to changes.
