Job summary

The successful candidate will work within the Acute and Community Therapies Directorate, with the opportunity to work within both acute and community settings including patients' homes reporting to the Podiatry Manager.

The post is open to third year Undergraduate Podiatry students that will successfully graduate and gain their HCPC registration, and due to commence in post by September 2023.

Main duties of the job

The role is mainly based in community and you will be expected to see patients in a variety of settings, including their own homes.

The candidate will be expected to work with complex patients as part of a Multi-disciplinary team and will have a good working knowledge of podiatric theory and practice. There will be exposure to all areas of Podiatry including wound care, nail surgery and biomechanics via rotation.
