Job summary
If you are an experienced senior MRI/CT Radiographer , looking for the ability to work flexibility or to work some additional hours, we are recruiting to our bank where you will be working within a Trust that is rated outstanding for its care.
Joining our bank will enable you to deliver the best care to our patients whilst offering you the flexibility to choose when you work as part of MRI/CT team.
Applicants will hold BSc in Radiography (or equivalent), holding valid HCPC registration and be able to demonstrate within their application experience in MRI, CT or both modalities.
The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt maintains a register of Temporary Workers "The Bank". Joining the Trust's Bank does not constitute a contract of employment between the bank member and the Trust. The Trust will notify bank members when a suitable assignment arises, and members will be able to choose whether or not to accept it. Main duties of the job
We have a well-equipped MRI department with two scanners; a 1.5T Siemens Sola, and a state-of-the-art 3T Siemens Vida. We undertakea wide variety of routine and specialist orthopaedic examinations, offering a 12 hour service, 7 days a week as well as offering an on call service for cauda equina patients.
Our CT department has a Canon Aquilian one Genesis CT scanner, undertaking a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic orthopaedic interventional procedures as well as general scanning.
Both MRI and CT operate an on-call service, provided by radiographers who are called in from their home base to the site.
The 24/7 high quality service is provided by an experienced, highly motivated, friendly team of radiographers working on rotation betweenboth modalities.
