Job summary
We are looking for a registered nurse to join our established ward team. Someone who is passionate about providing outstanding care for our patients.
Sheldon ward is a 19 bedded medical ward specialising in rehabilitation, elderly care, rheumatology and spinal injuries
We are dementia friendly on Sheldon with our lovely poppy lounge to enable patients to relax and reminisce. We have an activities co-ordinator and a discharge co-ordinator in our team.
Our aim is to aspire to deliver world class patient care, and we want talented, dedicated and passionate people to help us achieve this.
**Please note we are unable to support applicants who require OSCE, as the Trust has a separate and limited application process**
Main duties of the job
Providing skilled Nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment, to ensure individualised and effective care is practiced.
Contributing to the continuity of good team spirit and high standards of nursing care. Acts as a resource within the speciality of care of the elderly and rheumatology within the specialist division. Empowering junior staff to develop the highest possible level of clinical skills and facilitates communication within all care groups
Utilising the wards resources to promote excellence in practice and promotes and expedites quality issues relevant to the service delivery.
