An opportunity has arisen within The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) NHS Foundation Trust.
This post is for a whole-time permanent consultant specialising in knee arthroplasty and soft tissue, sports injury surgery at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, developing a career within this nationally and internationally renowned specialist orthopaedic hospital and developing and promoting the soft tissue and sports injury knee service.
This Full-time post complements the six existing Consultants in Knee and Sports Injury Surgery at Oswestry.
The successful applicant will have completed (or be within 6 months of the award of CCT) their specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics with evidence of subspecialty fellowship training in knee surgery.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for those patients referred to their care and will undertake clinics, pre-operative assessment, operating lists and ward rounds.
