- Degree or equivalent qualification in a science / Healthcare related subject e.g. Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent qualification
- Master's degree or a Doctorate in a relevant biological or pharmaceutical science subject
- Relevant Professional Registration

- Management qualification
- PTQA Diploma or equivalent experience

- Extensive experience and in depth specialist knowledge of GMP manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge in product development, process engineering, validation and technical transfer in the GMP arena
- Significant post qualification experience working in a regulatory compliant environment with aseptically prepared medicinal products
- Expert knowledge of relevant regulatory standards particularly the MHRA
- Highly developed specialist knowledge of, and experience in GMP and operational controls relating to the requirements of the Medicines Act 1968
