Facilities Assistant - Domestic Services

Job summary

Exciting opportunities are available for highly motivated individuals to join our Facilities Department and be part of a front line team enhancing patient experience by delivering high standards of cleanliness.

We have the following roles available:

• 1 x 30 hour position available working 8.00am-2.00pm with alternate weekend working
• 1 x 30 hour position available working 4.00pm-10.00pm alternate weekends
• 1 x 20 hour position available working 5.00pm-9.00pm alternate weekends
• 1 x 25 hour position available working 5.00pm-10.00pm alternate weekends

Full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

• To work as part of a team providing high standards of cleanliness.
• You will also be expected to complete deep cleans in other parts of the hospital as and when required.
• Using chemicals and cleaning equipment responsibly and within health and safety guidelines.
• Clearing clinical waste in the appropriate manner.
• Maintaining staff and public safety through appropriate use of warning signage whilst cleaning.
