This is an exciting time to be joining the Clinical Support Services Division as we embark on a journey of transformation and innovation.
The Clinical Support Services (CSS) division expanded recently and covers Oncology & Haematology, Pathology, Pharmacy , Radiology, Cardiorespiratory and Therapies at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.
We are a friendly, innovative and business focussed team located at the two main sites within the Trust at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, The Princess Royal Hospital, and the Community Diagnostics Centre, Telford; with a strong and committed leadership team, led by Anna Martin, Director of Operations and Dr Angus McGregor Divisional Medical Director.
Partnership working is key to this role. Working with internal and system partners, you will ensure that our services are optimised to best support patient experience across our Trust and System. You will utilise your extensive collaborative and influencing skills to deliver the business as usual and support the implementation of major projects and transformation work, including HTP.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will act as Deputy Divisional Director of Operations, CSS and as a member of the CSS leadership team, play a key role in decision making within the Division. You will work with internal and system partners to support the implementation of major transformation projects, provide support for projects by creating business cases, plans and assurance as required; and support the Centres in the deployment of robust demand and capacity models.
Working closely with the CSS Centre Leadership Teams, SaTH Divisional Colleagues, Corporate Services, Executive Team and STW System partners you will play a crucial role in developing the maturity and visibility of the progress of CSS transformation programmes.
