Job summary
We are looking to recruit 3 band 3 Health care assistants to assist in delivering the teledermatology service within the Shropshire and Telford area. This is a new service and it will be an exciting experience to be part of a team shaping the future of telederm in the community settings. We are looking for hard working, good time keeping, kind, compassionate and caring individuals to greet patients, and assist the medical photographers in capturing clinical images to be viewed by Senior clinicians as to whether a face 2 face review is necessary for all patients referred by their GP's with a suspected skin cancer. Although initially based in Hollinswood, Stafford park, we hope to role this program out into other community hubs and eventually cover 7 days a week. Qualifications
Essential
- Level 2 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support or NVQ Level 3 in Care or demonstrate a commitment to work towards the Diploma qualification
- Maths at GCSE Level Grade 9 - 4 or equivalent qualifications (Level 2 or above)
- English Maths at GCSE Level Grade 9 - 4 or equivalent qualifications (Level 2 or above). (If you do not hold this qualification, there will be a requirement to sit our in-house simply literacy assessment)
Communication Skills

- Evidence of basic computer skills and competence (Word, Indigo Review, SEMA, Excel)
