Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated senior nurse to join the Dermatology Team as a Advanced Nurse Specialist on a two-year fixed term contract.

The purpose of the post is to manage and provide expert specialist clinical practice for patients with Dermatology skin conditions and Skin Cancer both in the outpatient and inpatient settings. The CNS should be leading in the use of evidence based clinical practice in line with current research, guidelines, and other available evidence. The postholder will have experience of working as a Band 7 Dermatology/ Skin Cancer CNS for a minimum of three years and be educated to master's level.

You will be supported to work autonomously, providing care and support for patients with Skin conditions/ Skin Cancer throughout all stages of the pathway and utilising other members of the MDT when required to increase knowledge and skills to ensure delivery of reliable high-quality care.
