Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Support Office Manager for Estates who will be responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of office duties and procedures ,ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness and communication.

The successful applicant will supervise the administrative support staff, allocate and monitor workloads, and provide appropriate training for new and existing staff, therefore, previous experience of managing a team is essential.

The Office Manager will be approachable and work well as part of a team and will previous experience of providing a secretarial and administrative service.

Main duties of the job

The post holder ensures the provision of a professional and confidential administrative and secretarial service for the Estates Management Team and also the wider Estates department, supervising other business support administrative staff, based within both of the Estates offices cross site, on a day to day basis.

The post holder will work with administrative colleagues within the Estates Department, as well as corporately with all Trust employees, to assist Estates in delivering the Trust's overall strategic objectives. The post holder will assist the Estates Business Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the office.

The post holder will take day to day responsibility for overseeing the ID badge and Contractor induction/signing in System and manage the front of house reception.

The post holder works autonomously within defined policies and procedures, although advice is readily available from Line Manager when required.
