Job summary

The Temporary Staffing Service at West London NHS Trust is seeking to recruit a highly skilled, knowledgeable, proactive and experienced Temporary Staffing Team Leader to provide excellent management skills and leadership for our Booking Co-ordinators and Compliance Team.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to 'hit the floor running' to join our high performing Temporary Staffing team. This role will encompass the day to day management of the Temporary Staffing Team, including being the escalation point for queries/concerns

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Temporary StaffingManager and to ensure effective systems and processes are embedded and followed in practice.

You will be required to create and distribute regular Temporary Staffing reports and ensure compliance for all temporary workers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their experience and knowledge within the Temporary staffing sector within the NHS and be part of a dedicated team ensuring that all areas of the Trust are safely staffed as well as assisting with the reduction in agency usage.

Main duties of the job

As the Temporary Staffing Team Leader you would lead on providing a professional, high quality service within a customer focused environment for both clinical and non-clinical departments.

You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the Temporary Staffing Team including being the escalation point for queries/concerns.

You will have management responsibility for the Booking Co-ordinators, Training and Compliance Co-ordinators and the Senior Co-ordinator, including providing additional guidance and training as needed.

Actively lead by example and promote team engagement and productivity.

You will require to work closely with the services and the Recruitment team to highlight and address shortfalls in the Temporary staffing resource pool. Having a targeted approach for Bank recruitment.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and systems.
