Job summary

As an administrator for the Specialist Older Adults Mental Health Team, your role will be to deliver a quality administrative and secretarial service, to meet the requirements of an Older People's Mental Health Service, adhering to deadlines and targets. To deliver and maintain an administrative and secretarial procedures that enhance the collection and recording of patient/client information and service performance management.

You will be working within a friendly, well established team and liaise patients, carers and other professionals to support with the provision of a service to a wide range of older people with mental illness. This will be an excellent opportunity where you will receive training and development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver a quality administrative and secretarial service to meet the requirements our Specialist Older Adults Mental Health Service. You will deliver and maintain administrative and secretarial procedures that enhance the collection and recording of patient/client information and service performance management in line with data protection and patient confidentiality.

We require someone who can work efficiently, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail with very good communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to have good organisational skills, be able to prioritise your workload adhering to deadlines and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

You will be working within a friendly, well established team and liaising with patients, carers and other professionals to support with the provision of a service to a wide range of older people with mental illness.

Training will be provided and there is opportunity for personal development.
