West London NHS Trust (WLT) has been commissioned to provide the first female, Level 2 specialist mental health high support rehabilitation ward, based at The Orchard Unit, St Bernards Hospital, Ealing.
We currently have vacancies for two Clinical Team Leader posts to join our dedicated team on Melrose ward on a permanent or 1 year secondment contract. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of female mental health rehabilitation in a supportive and innovative environment. You will be part of a forward-thinking team committed to high quality patient care and recovery.
Melrose ward is a 10 bedded Level 2 specialist mental health high support rehabilitation ward, based at The Orchard in Ealing. The service will provide care and intensive support to women with complex mental health needs particularly where previous placements have been unable to adequality support their recovery. The service will offer trauma-informed, gender sensitive care with staff trained in the specific needs of women, as well as to facilitate family involvement and social inclusion supporting transitions to community settings.
The clinical model is based on a holistic approach in assessing, planning and delivering care and treatment underpinned by a biopsychosocial model and assessment of need. There will be multidisciplinary working throughout the care pathway and the model is trauma informed and provides gender sensitive care
Main duties of the job
- To provide support and supervision to a group of nursing staff
