As an Apprenticeship and Widening Participation Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Apprenticeship and Widening Participation programmes ensuring all policies, processes and guidelines are adhered to and the highest level of customer service is delivered.

You will also provide high quality administrative support to the Apprenticeship and Widening Participation Lead and you will be an important point of contact for learners and Training Provider.

You will need to meet the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour of the Apprenticeship standard as defined by both the Learning Provider and the Trust.

Main duties of the job

General administration for all Trust Apprenticeship programmes, learners as well as the Apprenticeship Lead

Trust Intranet - Apprenticeship Page Management - keep this updated and work constructively with Comms Team/IT regarding any changes or update

National Administrator Week; assist the Lead with arranging events and collating outcome data

Work Experience: manage the administration, including pre/during/post programme planning, data collection and feedback

Care Certificate: support the Care Certificate administration, including data outcome collation and reporting

You will need to be a good listener and someone who can be responsive and empathetic to queries by phone/email/in person.

You will need to have a problem-solving approach, be willing work independently as well as under supervision

  • English Language & Maths GCSE Grade A-C / (9-4) or equivalent Level 2 Functional skills
  • Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development, including participation in an Apprenticeship

EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Some experience in administration, ideally within a healthcare or educational setting

Desirable

  • Experience of administering Apprenticeship training or work programmes is an advantage

SKILLS

Essential

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally and sensitively with apprentices, interns, and staff
  • Ability in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with web-based management systems.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding about Widening Participation in the NHS
