Main duties of the job

You will play a key role in improving clinical standards across the WLT by evaluating the quality, effectiveness, and safety of patient care. This role suits someone with strong analytical and organisational skills.

What You'll Do

You'll oversee audit activity across the Trust, supporting clinical teams to identify key audit areas, track progress, and ensure findings are used to enhance patient care. Maintaining oversight of audit plans and outcomes, you will help encourage a culture of continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor new NICE guidance, ensuring relevant teams are informed of changes that may impact clinical practice. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the clinical audit database, registering clinical audits and service evaluations, and preparing summary reports for local audit groups.
