We are seeking to recruit to the post of Service manager for the Locality services across Ealing Borough.
Applicants must have a successful track record of managing and leading District nursing services as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
The portfolio for Locality services includes;
District nursing
Tissue Viability service
Bladder and Bowel services
Phlebotomy
Care Coordination
Candidates are required to have significant experience in all aspects of managing and leading services and demonstrate a strong commitment to Partnership working; Staff engagement, Patient involvement and all aspects of Clinical Governance.
The role is supported by 4 Matrons and an Operational service manager, who deals with Data management and requests; Administration staff as well as the Domiciliary Phlebotomy service across Ealing Borough. Services are aligned to Locality Teams across the Borough and the successful candidate will play a key role in embedding the relationships and further integrating services.
Main duties of the job
A key and active member of the Integrated Service Line Senior management team (SMT) representing Locality services
Establishing and maintaining relationships with Key stakeholders both internally and externally to the Organisation.
Providing consistent Leadership and management to the teams and working in collaboration to deliver responsive, patient centred care in line with NICE guidance as well as local and National standards
Ensuring that the KPIs are delivered and any risks are escalated at the earliest opportunity to ensure that mitigation is in place.
Responsibility for Locality service's Budgets and resources; ensuring that services are delivered within the financial envelope
Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework; you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
To continuously strive to improve the quality and delivery of services within the portfolio
