Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Job Planning and Medical Staffing Advisor to join our Medical staffing team at West London Mental Health Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the Chief Medical Officer in carrying out their corporate responsibilities for the Trust including consultant and SAS job planning and to assist the Medical Staffing Manager and Medical Staffing Officer.

Prior experience within medical staffing is essential to this role.

This role allows hybrid working on completion of probation.

Main duties of the job

- Manage consultant job planning across the Trust

- Provide assurance that consultant job planning operates within the organisation's overarching annual planning cycle and within established governance processes through effective reporting.

- Deliver a rolling job planning training programme

- To advise on pay and terms and conditions of service in line with national terms and conditions of all medical staff and local terms and conditions of service

- To advise managers / Consultants etc on any processes that have been implemented within the team of any major changes and include them with regular reviews - ensuring consistency with requirements and best practice

- To assist the Medical Staffing Manager in developing streamlined standardised user friendly Medical Staffing processes and procedures.
