We are looking for an experienced and motivated General practitioner , to join West London Forensic services, based at Primary Health care , St Bernard's Hospital Ealing. This is a full time post.
The role of General Practitioner within West London Forensic Services provides an exciting opportunity to be part of an outstanding forensic service and to provide integrated mental and physical health care.
Main duties of the job
The role is responsible for providing routine and urgent support to the inpatients detained within the service who present with a range of complex physical health needs.
The GP is part of a motivated group of staff who work within primary healthcare who work collaboratively to manage chronic physical health conditions in conjunction with the Responsible Clinicians and ward multidisciplinary teams.
The team is actively involved in quality improvement and has specifically been looking at interfaces with the acute hospitals seeking to improve referrals and communication to ensure equivalence of care for our population and to reduce inequalities.
