Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? A great opportunity has arisen at the West London NHS Trust. We are seeking to recruit a proactive, innovative and effective individual to the Local Security Management Officer (LSMO) role within the Trust Governance Team.
The successful applicant will work to the Local Security Management Specialist, Head of Risk Health and Safety, Local Services Senior Management Team and Police and criminal justice services.
The role of the LSMO is to support the delivery of the Trusts organisational safety culture within a governance framework.
The role requires an experienced and enthusiastic individual who can work in a fast paced, changing environment, is able to adapt to new situations and can demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in engaging with people across Local Services. The post holder will be expected to have experience of safety and security in a clinical setting and ability to develop Policies, Guidance, plans and learning programmes is essential.
Main duties of the job
- To support the Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) and wider Risk Management Team to improve the safety and security culture
- To support the implementation of the Trust violence reduction strategy
- Deputise for the LSMS as required
- To advise Local Services staff on safety and security matters that is within their knowledge and experience
- To oversee the Local Services Lone Working Device system, process and procedure
- Facilitate in Local Services, safety and security learning programmes
- To support the wider Risk Management Team
- Establish positive working relationships with the police and criminal justice services.
