Broadmoor Hospital currently has vacancies for the post of full time Clinical Team Leader on Edgware Ward . Candidates should have relevant experience in mental health Care as a Registered Nurse.
Edgware ward is a 15 bedded Mental Illness and Personality Disorder Intensive Support and Treatment Ward (ISAT) based at Broadmoor Hospital.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be highly motivated, patient focused leaders, able to deal with complex clinical issues and challenges associated with working in a high secure environment. Our care and treatment programmes are underpinned by values associated with recovery and socially inclusive principles.
In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) , lead the team in maintaining a safe and therapeutic clinical environment for staff and patients.
Supporting the CNM in developing and maintaining innovative nursing interventions.
Demonstrate positive situational leadership skills
Provide/ensure Clinical supervision and support is available to junior staff.
Promote personal and professional development of staff through the creation of a positive learning environment.
Ensure high standard of evidence based care is provided to our patients.
Act as Unit co-ordinator within the Hospital as required.

Essential
- Registered Nurse Mental Health on the NMC Register.(sub part 1 RN3 & Sub part 2 RN4)
Desirable
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- ENB 770 or equivalent in Specialist Field.
- Mentorship in Practice I.e. ENB 998
- NVQ Assessor
- Relevant post registration health care qualifications
- Leadership & Coaching Qualification.
Experience

- Relevant experience in mental health at Band 5 or equivalent.
Desirable
- General life experience/skills
- Previous experience at acting Band 6 or equivalent
- Experience of forensic mental health nursing
