You'll report directly to the service's Deputy Clinical Lead, leading the modalities team and playing an integral role in developing our service. The demand is rising and the service we provide is vital to our patients. You'll be given the space to make important decisions and make a real difference.
Main duties of the job
You'll provide management to qualified Modality and Trainee Therapists. Working autonomously within professional guidelines, and our policies/procedures, you'll play a key role working closely with the Clinical Deputy and Lead in improving our programme across the borough and team development.
Other duties include:
- Provide a specialist psychological service for patients
- Provide specialist psychological training, supervision, guidance and consultation to other professionals
- Lead on the recruitment and induction of Modality Practitioners and other roles as required
- Support the Clinical Deputy/Lead with service performance responsibilities and representing the service Trustwide, e.g. with commissioners.
- Maintain systems including auditing and evaluation of service. Support others in use of these systems.
- Develop and maintain referral pathways from general practice and community care teams within Ealing
- Support the development of specialist skills and on-going delivery of interventions through training
Please note staff are expected to work one evening session per week (12pm - 8pm).
