An exciting opportunity has arisen to play an important role in innovative services for patients with a primary diagnosis of Mental Illness & Personality Disorder. The post will be based within the High Security Forensic environment of Broadmoor Hospital on Sandown Ward

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for Full Time Clinical Nurse Manager on Sandown ward Broadmoor Hospital. The ideal candidate will have sufficient experience at Band 6 or experience as an acting Clinical Nurse Manager within inpatient services.

The post holder will be an excellent team player with an ability to facilitate collaborative working. With excellent, proven leadership skills this person will provide line management to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of assessment, care and treatment for patients within either the Personality Disorder or Mental Illness service.

  • Registered Nurse (Part 3 or 13 of the UKCC Register)

Desirable

  • Masters Degree or equivalent experience
  • ENB 770 or equivalent

Experience

  • First line management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health services
