Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 7 Specialist Occupational Therapist with experience of working with young people and their families with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties to work in the Neuro-developmental and Learning Disability team (NDLD) in H&F CAMHS.
The post-holder will join a well-established experienced large and thriving multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in the NDLD team. They will be provided with high-quality clinical supervision from a Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist and attend team meetings and case discussions within the NDLD team. The NDLD team is embedded within the wider Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS, which also consists of the Adolescent team, Children and Families team and the Tier 2 Community team.
In addition, the post-holder will join the growing Occupational Therapy team across CAMHS. There will be good opportunities for CPD and development within the team and trust and also externally and there are weekly academic sessions alongside several other supports. We are looking for a skilled, hard-working and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality and effective services to children and young people and their families. The post would suit Occupational Therapists who already have some experience of working in CAMHS and/or with children and young people in a different context and/or have some experience working with clients with neuro-developmental and learning difficulties
Main duties of the job

The post-holder will offer specialist Occupational Therapy and neurodevelopmental assessments, interventions and support to children, young people and their families presenting with neuro-developmental difficulties (such as ADHD and ASD) and/or Learning Disabilities and co-morbid emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties in H&F CAMHS.
To post holder will provide specialist, culturally appropriate, evidence based occupational therapy assessments as part of a comprehensive multi professional assessment for children and young people in order to establish and meet their occupational needs.
Flexible and hybrid working is available. All staff are equipped for remote working with clients and colleagues.
