Data Analyst and Assistant Psychologist - Agenda for Change Band 5
Applications are invited for a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced assistant psychologist with a background in research, audit or improvement to work with a Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) to increase, improve and embolden mental health support within the West London area. These roles will sit in the 9 community mental health (MINT) teams across the boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith and Fulham.
This role will involve leading on data analysis and continuous improvement alongside supporting the delivery of care for those client's waiting for a therapeutic intervention. This role therefore requires postgraduate competencies and experience in this area. The ratio of admin to clinical work is roughly 70:30. Before commencing in the role there will be an induction which will cover the key skills needed to undertake the role.

Main duties of the job
This post has been set up to manage and respond to the expansion of our community team offer. Our MINT service was set up in 2019 as part of the introduction of the Community Mental Health Framework.
The characteristics of the core population are people with enduring mental health needs
(psychosis; bi-polar; complex depression; trauma) and complex emotional needs who may find it difficult to:
- make or maintain relationships
- connect with other people, including friends, family or work colleagues
- manage and control their emotions
- cope with life and difficult feelings
- manage their behaviours and impulses.

- A degree in psychology (minimum 2.1) providing GBR
- Postgraduate degree in psychology or health sciences with a significant research component
- Relevant experience of working in the NHS in an assistant and/or research/data related role.

- Experience of working with business information platforms and extrapolating key information
- Substantial experience delivering low intensity, high volume self-help interventions to people with common mental health problems in a mental health setting

- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary mental health team.
- Experience of high level research - familiarity with multivariate statistical methods, including the use of software such as SPSS and Excel.
