We are looking for enthusiastic and highly experienced Band 3 Health Care Facilitators to join our Bank team and help us to provide the highest quality care to meet the therapeutic needs of our patients during this time.

Main duties of the job

You will preferably have experience in Acute Adult or Forensic Mental Health Services with the appropriate training & qualifications.

You will work as a key member of the nursing team and wider multi-disciplinary team. As part of the job, you'll be expected to support the Band 5 in a safe and clinical practice.Our care and treatment programme are underpinned by principles of recovery and social inclusion.Patient involvement and co-production are fundamental to our approach and you will be closely involved in developing recovery care pathways and ensuring patients always have a strong voice and that their needs remain at the heart of everything we do.

Job responsibilities

The postholder will be responsible for contributing to healthcare under thesupervision of a registered member of staff providing a recovery focused approach tophysical, psychological, social, recreational and spiritual care to service users.The postholder will carry out duties as designated by the nurse in charge and reporton the patients condition. They will maintain the orderliness, hygiene and safety ofthe ward environment and will be required to undertake routine clerical duties.

Mandatory Covid vaccination will form part of the terms and conditions of employment (unless an exemption applies). Applicants will also be required to provide evidence of their vaccination status as part of the NHS pre-employment checks process. (Must have had two vaccinations against Covid)
