Job summary
The successful candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering a comprehensive and efficient service, for the Reception / Control Room on a day to day basis.
The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of security services through the operation of Access Control, CCTV, X-ray and radio communications
Main duties of the job
Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent communication and observation skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Knowledge and experience of search procedures, visitor management systems, CCTV, customer service, computerised records would be useful, but not essential.

The successful candidate will work with a team that is responsible to ensure access and egress is only given to authorised persons, vehicles, equipment, mail and possessions and they are all subject to screening and search procedures in accordance with hospital policies.
Help ensure site security & safety is maintained by responding to situations and incidents within the hospital and carrying out security checks and patrols in accordance with policies and procedures.
Support operations in other parts of the Security Directorate in accordance with skills and training assist the security team in ensuring that site security is maintained through monitoring security systems, responding to alarms and incidents within the hospital, controlling movement and ensuring that patients can be accounted for at all times.
