An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Ealing CAMHS within our Adolescent Team and to train to become a Band 7 Specialist CAMHS CBT Practitioner through our innovative and comprehensive training programme which includes formal teaching, experiential learning and supervision. The role combines clinical work with children, young people and their families, alongside opportunities to support team and service development.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and innovative clinician who is able to maintain clinical curiosity and engage in reflective practice as well as be able to be an advocate for children, young people and families' needs. You will be joining a welcoming psychology team in Ealing and West London who are committed to service improvement, staff well-being, and who value diversity in our workforce.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will commit to participating in the CAMHS Development Programme, whilst also working within the Ealing CAMHS Adolescent Team. For more information on the CAMHS Development Programme please see the Candidate Information Pack.
Ealing CAMHS has a strong multi-disciplinary approach and thrives on innovative and reflexive practice to meet the needs of a socially, economically culturally diverse London borough. You will be committed to ensuring that the service is accessible and effective. With supervision and support, the successful applicant will provide mental health assessments and CBT interventions to young people alongside their families and/or carers. The role will include providing outreach work to young people who may find it hard to attend clinics.
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in the monthly CPD programme and reflective space as well as contribute to service development, audit, research and QI projects.

- A Minimum of a Second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant subject e.g. psychology, and further relevant training eg Children's Wellbeing Practitioner or Education Mental Health Practitioner course.
- Qualification in an appropriate mental health profession (such as Nursing, Social Work, OT, Counselling or Clinical Psychology, Family Therapy or Child Psychotherapy) and registration with relevant UK governing body.
