An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Senior Peer Support Worker to join our Eating Disorder Service as a Peer Support Lead.
The Peer Support Eating Disorder Lead role focuses on coordinating, supporting & supervising peer workers within the team, whilst holding a small caseload.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to support Peer workers sharing the wisdom of their own lived experience both within the team and with clients to embed peer support and recovery values within the service setting. The post holder will act as a senior representative of peer support for the Trust with external agencies and partner organisations, co-delivering learning and education. The role will also involve carrying out supervision and service development responsibilities as a senior member of staff; contributing to the development of the peer support worker force and across our eating disorder services.

The successful applicant will also need to be able to demonstrate that they meet the relevant competencies as defined by IMROC and the competency framework for peer support workers to work confidently to support others as well as all mandatory training required for the post. Please be aware that successful completion of the relevant training listed is a requirement for this post.
