Main duties of the job
- To provide professional leadership and line-management to Occupational Therapists and support staff including technical instructors and occupational therapy assistants.
- To provide a high quality occupational therapy service, in collaboration with multi-disciplinary clinical teams, to mental health service users within the Acute Mental Health Service (AMHS) line.
To be responsible for the development, planning and delivery of an Occupational Therapy service within professional and clinical governance frameworks, which adheres to both the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct standards of practice and proficiency
