Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Clinical Education Team, to provide a smooth and comprehensive administration service to all Clinical Education activities for The Whittington Health which provides both community and hospital services.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide support to the Clinical Education Department. Duties will include arranging and booking training courses, setting up of equipment and courses, recording and updating ESR, monitor and maintain all training spreadsheets and CPD payment records for the ICO. You will contribute to the overall effective and professional running and delivery of clinical education

Provide organisational support including arranging events and workshops as required,

Be responsible for answering the department's telephones and ensuring that messages are passed on accurately and to the most appropriate person.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors to the office, direct call, take messages and answer enquiries

Register staff on to clinical training sessions, create and close relevant classes via ESR.

To record and maintain staff attendance at study days organised by members of the Clinical Education Department on ESR.

Utilise ESR for data collection and report generation, ensuring that all data is complete, accurate and timely.

To advise and support staff regarding the processes of applying for education and training.

Assist in the preparation of course and other information bulletins such as publicity flyers

To photocopy, print, scan, laminate paperwork and information as requested

Collect student workbooks and student test book

Assist in organising and preparing room for training session.

To publicise and put in place arrangements for course delivery as requested.

Order training supplies and equipments on PECOS, to enable costs to be managed effectively and the budget monitored

Process quote/ invoices on PECOS that are received at the office, ensuring that they are sent to the relevant signatory and resolve any outstanding queries

Liaise with payments and suppliers
