Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available to work with the Allied Health Professionals Leadership team for a Band 5 Job Planning Officer for 6 months. This role is crucial to fulfilling the various requirements for AHP Digital Job Planning.

The successful candidate will be organised, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. They will be experienced administrators with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package as well as have experience working with job planning software. Experience of handling confidential information is important.

Main duties of the job

  • To work with minimal supervision, using own judgement to take instant decisions and to be accountable for own actions
  • Be responsible for maintaining and developing administrative processes to support the job planning process across the Trust
  • To take joint responsibility for the smooth operation of the job planning processes and projects, including providing a range of administrative support duties
  • This job requires the post holder to communicate frequently with a wide range of professionals (internal and external to the organisation) and therefore experience and an understanding of dealing with complex, confidential, and sensitive information are required, using tact, persuasion and negotiating skills.

Essential

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Excellent education including Math & English at GCSE or equivalent experience

  • Proven technical ability in data cleansing, analysis, solving data problems, automating reports, pivoting and manipulation of dashboards.
