We have x2 posts - Director of Operations, Surgery and Cancer and Acute Patient Access, Clinical Support Services and Women's Health (please clearly indicate in your application which post you are applying for) Whittington Health are a high performing integrated Healthcare Organisation that serves the communities of Islington and Haringey. We are looking for someone who is committed to our ICARE values and is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of patients.As Director of Operations you will be directly accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with your triumvirate which includes the Clinical Director and Associate Director of Nursing for the Division. You will have responsibilities for the delivery and management of services within a hugely important Division.
Main duties of the job
The Director of Operations will be directly accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and have responsibilities for the delivery and management of services within the Division.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for developing and delivering services inline with requirements of commissioners, local authorities and the local population to reflect the Trust's strategic objectives.
Support the achievement of all the Division based key performance targets and work in liaison with other Divisions to share best practice.
Work proactively and in liaison with the Clinical Director and Associate Director of Nursing to lead all Division based activities.
To provide systems leadership for the service to drive through best practice changes to ensure that clinical outcomes for patients and their families continually improve.
To champion strong collaboration across clinical pathways and ensure theengagement of other services to maintain patient flow.
To work with the Clinical Director and Associate Director of Nursing in delivering an 'outstanding' rating for services within the Division from CQC inspections.
