An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialised Lead Clinical Physiologist to join the Neurophysiology Team at Whittington Health.
The post holder will Be responsible for the managerial and professional lead for the Clinical Neurophysiology service, service planning and development, specific policy developments, and financial planning and budget management.
undertake and report on a wide range of highly complex, specialist clinical neurodiagnostic tests, for diverse referring specialities, to patients of all ages, suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders, including neurological and/or psychiatric.

Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the managerial and professional lead for the Clinical Neurophysiology service, service planning and development, specific policy developments, and financial planning and budget management. Maintain the high standard of the Clinical Neurophysiology service, offering a wide range of complex specialist neurodiagnostic tests, for diverse referring specialities, to patients of all ages, suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders, including neurological and psychiatric, ensuring appropriate and timely reports for all investigations undertaken. Work collaboratively with colleagues, other professionals and agencies to ensure the Clinical Neurophysiology service meets changing healthcare needs.

Essential
- oBSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent specialty's training
- oECNE part 2, HNC or post-graduate training to MSc level or equivalent
- oECNE Part 1 and/or B-Tec/GNVQ (Neurophysiology) or equivalent
- oEvidence or willingness to undertake further professional study
- oAttendance of meetings relevant to specialty
Desirable
- oRCCP registration, or equivalent AVR registration (NCHS)
