Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Fixed Term Junior Clinical Fellow in Surgery to join our forward thinking department. This is a replacement post and the successful appointee will join Colleagues in the department providing elective and emergency services for Whittington Health NHS Trust.
The job is available as soon as a successful candidate is appointed.
Main duties of the job
At the Trust, you will be attached to a specified Consultant for the duration of your appointment, where you will participate in clinics, both elective and emergency and will be actively involved in emergency & elective theatre. You will be supervised at all times which will enable you to build on your current knowledge and experience different sub-specialities closely.
You will be required to undertake at least one audit project during your time. There are also research opportunities and you will be encouraged to take an active part to enhance your audit and research skills.
You will be given a fully planned rota and you will be encouraged to take a paid study leave to attend appropriate training courses.
