Material Management Assistant

Job summary

To except deliveries that are delivered daily and provide a service to wards and departments within the Trust as part of the internal and external supply chain and non-stock service. Occasionally cover within the Material Management team with put aways and Rugby St cross as and when required.

Main duties of the job

Assist in the receipt and distribution of ad hoc deliveries including the management of stock ordered for the bulk stores facility. To chase suppliers for missing paperwork, either by telephone or email, so that our service can continue to run smoothly. Take responsibility for the security of goods from the point of receipt.
