2 posts are available and each post will be required to complete 6 months placements at both University Hospitals Coventry and The Queen Elizabeth Hospitals Birmingham.
Main duties of the job
Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia
The Clinical Fellow will follow a unique training pattern dedicated to maximising exposure to cardiothoracic anaesthesia. During scheduled training days they will join training lists in theatre, gaining the skills essential for a consultant post in cardiothoracic anaesthesia including clinical management, complex decision making, and transoesophageal echocardiograph. They will undertake non-resident on call and assist consultants out of hours building experience managing cardiothoracic emergencies.
