Provide optimum quality of care to critically ill patients, offering support to the multi-professional team. Will take management responsibility for an identified area on regular shifts.
You must have the ability to create and sustain a culture of positivity, where staff are supported & developed. You will work closely with the Matron and the senior nursing team to support excellence in the department.

We are looking for experienced Critical Care Practitioners at Band 5 to join our team. We have 30 critical care beds on the General Critical Care Unit and 22 beds on the Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit. Our Critical Care services offer a broad experience in caring for critically ill adults in an innovative, challenging and aspirational workplace. We are committed to advancing nursing practice and our Clinical Nurse Training and Development team provide in-house training and support for Clinical and Professional development.
We have opportunities to work within both our General Critical Care Unit and Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit as Band 5 Registered Practitioner.
Within Critical Care you will gain valuable experience in the care of patients with a wide range of needs including Trauma, complex Medical and Surgical patients such as, Haematology, GI Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Renal Medicine/Transplant surgery and Head and Neck Surgery.
