No two days are the same in our hospitals in Coventry and Rugby and the quality of our services relies on the communications expertise we provide. We do a large amount of TV, radio and social media work and you may have seen our Trust in the spotlight when the world's first Covid-19 vaccine was administered in Coventry or on BBC Hospital Series 7, A&E: Crash Scene Emergency, Sky News and BBC Panorama. Your role will take centre stage in helping us to shape and sell our stories and successes, building long lasting relationships with local, regional and national publications and helping to inform and educate our communities about the wonderful work we do.

As one of 19 designated Major Trauma Centres, we are home to one of the country's busiest emergency departments and a wide array of amazing clinical services that help patients from birth to end of life. The Trust provides regional expertise in areas such as cancer, fertility, genomics and renal services as well as specialist expertise in sleep studies and Artificial Intelligence.

We work very closely with other NHS organisations, local authorities and our two University partners, Coventry University and Warwick University, who have supplied our undergraduate and post graduate work placements.

This senior role will support the many innovations and transformations our organisation is involved with across all aspects of communications and marketing, with the core focus on further strengthening media relations and ensuring we tell the story, uphold the values and protect/enhance the reputation of the Trust.

Please be advised interviews are proposed to take place on either 28th or 29th February 2024.
