The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust offers a broad spectrum of experience in OMFS. This includes; dento-alveolar surgery, oral medicine, orthognathic surgery, trauma surgery and head and neck oncology.

The successful applicant will be working as part of the OMFS Team and their duties will include: outpatient clinics, A & E, inpatient admissions, operating theatre, facial deformity, orthognathic surgery, head and neck oncology and trauma clinics together with an on-call commitment with no overnight duties. The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in audit and research projects and maintain continued professional development.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity to join our team here at UHCW! We are seeking a Junior Clinical Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - DCT 2/3 equivalent post, with an imminent start date. This post is full time and supports a 1:5 DCT rota. The out-of-hours commitments will include additional payments on top of basic salary. The contract may be extended once in post based on future service requirements.
