Main duties of the job
As a Senior IT Server Specialist, some of your duties will be to:
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2019 and newer) on HPE and Dell Azure Stack HCI Hardware
- Deploy, support, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Perform regular system updates, backups and restores, and security audits to maintain data integrity and compliance
- Manage and support our Citrix environment
- Collaborate with other teams to design and implement scalable server solutions
- Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation
You should have in depth experience of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Office365, Hyper-V virtualisation, Failover Clustering, Citrix Virtual Apps and desktops and Dell and HP server hardware. You should also have knowledge of SQL, IIS, DNS, DHCP and a sound knowledge of networking concepts
