We are excited to seek a Quality Manager to join the Pharmacy Aseptic Services Team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.

The postholder will take the lead on the development, maintenance and day to day management of key Pharmaceutical Quality and IM&T systems used within Aseptic Services.
You will be responsible for inputting, managing and interpreting quality data to produce documents and reports relating to deviations, out of specifications and errors which are all aspects of the pharmaceutical quality systems integral to patient safety and our governance processes.
The role also involves the management and validation of computer software programmes used by the aseptic services team and the training of the aseptic services operators on their functionality.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our team as we are a designated "pathfinder" site and in the near future we will be moving to a purpose built, off-site aseptic facility which will significantly expand our capacity.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS at Risk staff throughout Devon who is able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for inputting, managing and interpreting quality management data to produce documentation and reports relating to deviations, out of specifications and errors for daily and monthly quality management system meetings.
- Responsible for the compilation of data for the aseptic services capacity plan relating to workload, error rates, overtime and sickness levels.
- Responsible for accurately inputting data onto external ordering systems to order outsourced pharmaceutical products.
- Responsible for training all production services personnel on the functionality of all production IM&T systems

- To develop, introduce and validate new processes and work streams within Q-Pulse.
- To develop, maintain and monitor standard operating procedures for Q-Pulse.

- To print copies of patient prescriptions from Aria and identify the most appropriate production work stream to follow.
- To allocate passwords for all pharmacy staff using the Aria system.
