Job summary

The post holder will work as part of a team of seven middle grade doctors and will participate in the second on call rota. The post holder will have approximately four/five clinics and four operating sessions per week, plus admin sessions. The successful candidate will join a team of 7 other middle grade doctors in the ENT department including 3 Specialist Registrars, a Rhinology Fellow and 2 Trust grade doctors. They will receive training in theatres, outpatient clinics and contribute to the middle grade on call rota.

Education, qaulification and special training

Essential

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Successful completion of MRCS or equivalent

Knowledge and experience

Essential

  • Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment
  • Two years' experience at core surgical trainee level or equivalent including at least 12 months in ENT Surgery.

Attitude and motivation

Essential

  • Evidence that present achievement and performance is commensurate with totality of period of training.
